Available in tethered and portable versions, Cortex touchscreen handsets are the ultimate interface for your Cortex system. They put the best in VHF communications and AIS situational awareness right at your fingertips — no matter where you are on your boat.

Paired with your Cortex hub, the Cortex H1 tethered or H1P portable handset serves as the control and voice-calling interface for VHF, DSC calling and AIS display of potential collision risks. You can optionally add extra Cortex handsets (sold separately) for even more freedom and control on board.

Cortex lets you initiate DSC direct calls with other vessels by simply tapping the vessel icon on your handset. Initiate VHF calls to friends or quickly hail another vessel when every second counts.

Wet hands or wearing gloves? No problem. Cortex handsets are glove-friendly and they provide responsive multi-touch, pinch-to-zoom and onscreen panning control in all types of marine environments. The 4” Corning® Gorilla® Glass touchscreen offers superior durability against impact and abrasion.
